Greg McEwin

Greg McEwin is the founder and Managing Partner of 1031 Investment Real Estate. He specializes in the structuring of replacement property portfolios for clients executing a 1031 Tax Deferral Exchange. He is adept in Real Estate Portfolio Analytics, DST Portfolio Structuring and Complex Transactions involving multi-Generational entities.  

Having spent over 30 years in the investment industry, he was a Partner at Bastiat Capital LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor in Dallas, TX, served as the Director of Research Marketing for 11 years at the well-known Independent Investment Research firm, David W. Tice & Associates, LLC, and before entering the research side of the industry, Greg was a Registered Representative at firms Bear Stearns & Company, Bank of America Capital Markets, Paine Webber, Inc., and Rodeman Renshaw & Co.   

Greg graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA in Economics and has previously held FINRA licenses, Series 7 & 65 and currently holds FINRA licenses, Series 22 & 63 as well as real estate licensure in the state of Utah. 

Outside of the office, Greg can be found in the mountains on his road and mountain bike or scouting the beautiful Wasatch backcountry for pristine powder to ski.    

Gavin Singh

Gavin joined 1031 Investment Real Estate as a Client Services Representative to assist investment property owners navigate the often-complicated 1031 Exchange process. He is a data-centric professional with 10 years of experience working in various sectors of the information technology, finance, and real estate investment fields.

Gavin holds a BBA in Business Management from Texas State University and is currently a candidate to sit for the FINRA Series 22 and Series 63 exams.
